Germany’s Minority Government 2.0
Back at it again, they already are a minority before even starting to govern!
Morally Undemocratic
After Freundin went to Germany in mid 2022, we saw that, going by the public opinion, the three-party coalition in Berlin rapidly started losing favour among the people. Heading south in the polls, within a relatively short time they were well under 40 percent, to then descend irreversibly under thirty percent, with one party disappearing from the 5% radar altogether.
Following the February 2025 general election, according to every single pollster, the current prospective Weimar coalition has already lost its slim majority, and were a new election to be held now, it would get nowhere near half the seats plus 1 required to receive a mandate.
Taking into account Germany’s new coalition will start its legislature as a minority entity from day one as per public opinion ratings, its democratic character from the moral perspective is already dead in the water.
Her German Identity
In the past I have given insight to how Mädel always came across as being German without her saying so. Going by her looks, I would have bet all my silver Reichsmarks that she is Teutonic – if it wasn’t for the fact that I needed these to contribute to Angela’s studies.
One day, while staying in Germany for a while in the Reichsstadt Aachen, in communion I saw Freundin appear at the door coming from England. Looking up, I rose, wiped my hands and said to her: Komm her! The words were in German, and she forthwith came to me and I embraced her, affectionately placing my hands on her shoulders. Later it occurred to me that the spoken phrase had not been in English, and yet she understood and did as I had bid her.
On telling her of this after returning to England, I noted how she looked at me but didn’t say whether the German language was actually in her grasp, and so it remained a secret. It would be only some years after this event, when I closed down her English career before it could even start, that the truth came out: Mädel, you actually are German, it’s unmistakeable and I was right all along!
Successful
The progress she has managed to achieve in German Land since the middle of 2022 is remarkable, and I’ve been assured by Alexandra who is out there with her that Mädel’s Teutonic appearance has a hypnotising effect on many Germans who turn out to attend her speeches. And the words she speaks to them do the rest while they listen as in a trance.
During her Wirtschaft rallies where crowds gather, quite a few have been seen extracting their party cards attesting membership of one or other political party of Weimar Republic reputation and ripping them up into shreds while standing there among the folk. It’s been observed that many didn’t even notice the torn pieces falling to the ground and were unaware they were even doing this, so natural was their response as her words resonated!
And Alexandra has also told me that more than one V-Mann has walked up to Wolfgang following one of Mädel’s presentations and solemnly declared: Ich schäme mich als Informant für die falsche Seite zu arbeiten und hab’ mich entschieden überzutreten!
Wohin gehen wir?
The question arises where Germany’s de-facto minority government will be headed once it is inaugurated, and this is a question many more Germans will be asking as time passes. It appears they are intent on taking the road to military confrontation with Russia for one or other NATO country – but not for Germany.
Is there actually a democratic mandate to go to war if it isn’t for one’s own country? Didn’t the ancient Athenians who invented democracy require a popular vote on such decisions as well as the right to seek an end to hostilities by way of negotiation should the majority wish to? Well it appears Germany has none of that, only a soon-to-be minority government that wouldn’t obtain a majority if an election was held today.
On her part, Freundin knows that Angela has different intentions and plans a campaign along the Rhine all the way into Switzerland where that river has its origins. Wanting to research the Church Under the Full Moon and use the Rhine Scroll as a script on which to centre her studies, she needs her brother there to greet her before making the journey from Mexico.
On his part, her brother, who in virtue of a binding contract needs to fund the schooling along with his own lifestyle, announced Messieurs, le Hun a dit: pas d’or, pas de Suisse. Point!
For now I’m hanging around waiting for Mädel to complete her preliminary mission in Germany, and she knows that it’s her versus the Weimar Republic and that only one side can prevail.
Here is today’s Party musical theme.
